Landing Zone Training Program

Duke Life Flight offers landing zone training to Fire and EMS agencies with the objective of enhancing safety during on-scene helicopter operations. For each training session, an available aircraft is deployed along with a full crew, including a pilot and two highly trained critical care providers.

These classes are provided at no cost to requesting agencies and include both a structured classroom presentation and a hands-on component designed to reinforce key safety principles.

While every effort is made to accommodate all requests, high demand may limit availability. Requests must be submitted at least fourteen (14) days in advance.
